Men’s Shed Wellness Week
These events are all about celebrating men, showing up, taking care of yourself, and having a good time while you’re at it.
Across the week, you’ll find a mix of free health check-ins, guest speakers, and relaxed time to connect with others. It’s all set up to make looking after your health feel easy, practical, and something you don’t have to do alone.
Each event has its own feel, so it’s worth coming to both to get the full experience of the week.
There’s also plenty to enjoy along the way — catered meals, great door prizes, raffles, a silent auction, and lots of free swag. These are good nights out with some real value built in.
Whether you’re coming for fun, the information, the food, the people, or just to check it out, you’ll leave with something useful. And by being there, you’re also supporting other men in the community.
Simple as that. Show up and take part.

Ways to Support
There are many practical ways to support what we’re building here—big or small, it all helps.
We’re happy to accept materials or services in place of financial support.

- Printing (posters, signage, programs)
- Workshop materials (wood, tools, hardware supplies)
- Transportation support for seniors or those with limited mobility
- Gift cards or raffle items
Share your knowledge—even an hour makes a difference.
Examples:
- Leading a short workshop or demo
- Offering guidance in your area of expertise (health, trades, finance, etc.)
- Supporting conversations around wellbeing or life skills
Help us reach more people:
- Post or display flyers
- Mention us in newsletters or community boards
Many of our handcrafted projects are available for purchase and may be customized. Checkout the Shop
Short- or long-term contributions that support the space:

- Tents, audio equipment, or screens
- Supplies for projects or events
Sometimes the simplest support matters most:

Ongoing Support
The Men’s Shed is built on community support. Ongoing support helps us keep the doors open, support our members, and expand what we’re able to offer—both inside the Shed and out in the community.
We welcome individuals, businesses, and organizations who want to contribute financially on a regular basis or support specific initiatives.
“While donations of funds, tools, or equipment are
appreciated, the Morinville Sturgeon Men’s Shed Club is a federally registered non-profit, however we not a registered
charity and cannot issue tax receipts.”
Partner or Collaborate
We welcome individuals, businesses, and community groups to work alongside us.
This could look like:
Hosting a workshop or sharing your skills
Collaborating on a community project
Supporting events or wellness initiatives
Bringing an idea forward and building it together
If you have something to offer or want to explore a partnership, we’re open to the conversation.
